April 29, 2002 I would like to thank all the HAMs that participated in this weekend's bike tour for their support and assistance. The MS society was overwhelmed with the way we handled everything. From rerouting riders due to a road closure by the fire department to setting up a HAM supplied canopy when one was stolen at a rest stop. Everyone was flexible and asked if they could help elsewhere when they were secured. The official numbers have not come in yet, but it looks like we broke the record this year for the number of riders (over 1250). I will post the exact number to this group as soon as I have it. Again, I thank all the participates for their incredible support and assistance this weekend. I could not have asked for a better group. --
